Facing a financial shortfall due to Covid-19 closures, a group of urology surgeons looked to their own data in AdaptX for creative solutions. Looking across their group’s performance, the surgeons were able to surface best practices for optimum patient flow. And, because all of the surgeons could see and interrogate the data for themselves, the group was able to quickly able to come to consensus on their go-forward plan.
Within just days, the urology group had operationalized their best practices and were saving 50 minutes of OR time per day. With additional OR time to work with, the groups business team began scheduling from their Covid-19 backlog, adding 20 additional cases per month. As result, the practice is adding revenue at the rate of $2,500,000 dollars per year — with no increase in costs.
