WHAT IS CITA?
The Consortium for Improvement of Tonsillectomies and Adenoidectomies (CITA) is a multi-institutional quality improvement project aimed at improving outcomes in all six National Academy of Medicine (NAM) quality domains for pediatric tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy surgeries, thereby setting a new standard of care. This initiative leverages EMR data in AdaptX® and fosters collaboration across participating institutions to drive meaningful improvements in quality, equity, and efficiency.
