Interventional radiologists managed variability to increase revenue capacity by $6M.

A hospital’s Interventional Radiology (IR) team struggled to keep up with patient demand. Services ran late, days ran long, and their backlog surged. As inpatient and outpatient procedures strained capacity, the team's physicians, staff, and patients grew frustrated.

With increased capacity, the IR team was able to improve access, serve more patients, and shorten waitlists. Clinician morale soared, reducing risk of burnout. More reliable scheduling and faster discharge times also improved patient satisfaction.
